Missing in America: Chase Massner

Iraq war veteran Chase Massner, then 26, vanished on March 27th, 2014 from Kennesaw, Georgia.

UPDATE: On August 1, 2017, authorities found remains in the 500 block of Farmbrook Trail in northern Cobb County. According to 11Alive, the remains were so decomposed that investigators were “unable to determine a manner of death.” In 2018, one of Chase’s friends, James Bradshaw Clement, was arrested in connection to the disappearance. He later entered an Alford plea – a type of guilty plea that allowed him to maintain his innocence but acknowledge there was enough evidence to convict him. Clement was sentenced to 15 years - 8 in prison, the rest on probation, and a fine of $1,000.
