Funny man Jay Leno was in Boston Tuesday to promote his new show that kicks off in September on 7NBC.
Leno received a warm welcome as he took the stage in front of a packed house at Emerson's Majestic Theatre.
"My cheeks are sore from laughing. He's just great," said Rosemary Eleuteri.
"Jay was wonderful. In the end, he talked about growing up in Andover," said Bill Bruner.
A thousand lucky contest winners had the opportunity to see Leno in an intimate afternoon show as part of a 7News promotion.
Bernie & Phyls Furniture gave away tickets to customers who tested out Sealy mattresses at their stores.
While in the Hub, the Andover native will spend some time promoting his new show that starts in September.
