An Elkhorn man said he spotted a very big cat near an area church.
Andrew Harris said he saw the cat for about three seconds near St. Augustine Episcopal Church before it ran away.

"Just east of the garden, about 50 feet from where I was, I saw a brown large cat," Harris said. "Probably about 3 feet long and the tail was about 2 feet long."
Omaha police and officials with the Game and Parks Department are investigating. They haven't determined exactly what kind of animal Harris saw.

On Wednesday, another Elkhorn man said he saw what may have been a mountain lion.
