A Hatfield Township man Monday received a probation sentence after admitting he stole from friends.

A Hatfield Township man Monday received a probation sentence after admitting he stole from friends.Kyle Paraskewik, 21, of the 600 block of Brighton Drive, was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to perform 72 hours of community service after pleading guilty to two theft charges.A condition of his probation requires Paraskewik to pay a combined $890 in restitution to his two victims.Paraskewik stole a PlayStation 2 Slim Line game belonging to the younger brother of a friend last December and then sold it to a game store, according to the criminal complaint.Last February, he stole a bank envelope containing $740 from a desk drawer at a friend's apartment, the complaint said.Both incidents took place in Lansdale.
