Sacramento police said they want to identify a man who allegedly robbed a Wells Fargo Bank on J Street.
Officials said the robber went inside at about 9:39 a.m. Monday and asked to speak with the bank manager. While talking with the manager, police said the man demanded money and made a threat. The manager then handed him a large amount of cash.

The robber fled on foot, police said.
The FBI said it is investigating related robberies in Northern California and in Washington, according to police.

The robber is described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He had short dark hair and a bleached goatee that was described as appearing fake. Witnesses said he was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white plaid short-sleeved buttoned-up shirt, brown cowboy boots and a white or tan hat with a logo on the front.
