The accident happened around 10:30 on some tracks near Preston Highway. The train conductor told police he saw a man lying on the tracks. He says he blew the train's horn and hit the brakes, but was not able to stop in time.

Police have not released the victim's name, but we're told he was a white male in his 40's.
