The man placed the call at 5:15 p.m. and said that he was "alarmed" by the gory bikini girls, The Hartford Courant reported. When police arrived at Mathewson Street in Jewett City, Conn., they discovered that the " zombies " were models in makeup who were getting ready for a photo shoot.

After they were informed of the complaint, the models and photography crew voluntarily moved to another street. Josh Esan, one of the photo shoot's organizers, told The Hartford Courant that the photos were taken for a 12-month zombie bikini calendar called "The Year of the Dead."
