HARPERS FERRY, WV - A Harpers Ferry woman now has hot water and a refrigerator thanks to some generous donors.

Mary Sowers has been living without those necessities for three months. Armand Young heard about her story and organized a team from Home Depot to come out and donate time and materials.

The hardware store replaced her hot water heater and winterized her home.
Triple M Appliances from Ranson, W. Va. donated and delivered the refrigerator.

Organizers say they do this in the name of a fallen soldier, Stephen Snowburger, who was killed in 2006.

Young plans to continue helping people as he walks across America in the name of victims of 9/11 and fallen soldiers of the Iraq/Afganastan wars. Read more at your4state.com.
