2. Tenn. Shooter Downloaded Radical Recordings: Officials

Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, the gunman who allegedly killed four Marines and a Navy sailor last week in Tennessee, had downloaded audio recordings of Anwar al-Awlaki, the American-Yemeni cleric who was a recruiter for al Qaeda, law enforcement officials told NBC News. A law enforcement official also said Abdulazeez's uncle in Jordan is believed to be "radical" and officials are investigating whether he influenced Abdulazeez when he was living there. 3. Aurora Gunman Won’t Testify During Sentencing Phase

James Holmes won't speak on his own behalf when the same jury that convicted him in the Colorado theater massacre reconvenes Wednesday to begin deciding whether he should live or die. 4. Teens Turning More Often to Morning-After Pill

More than 1 in 5 sexually active teen girls in the U.S. have used the morning-after pill — a dramatic increase that likely reflects that it's easier these days for teens to buy the emergency contraceptive. Prosecutors are reviewing the fatal shooting of Samuel Dubose, 43, by a University of Cincinnati police officer who had pulled him over for having a missing front license plate, authorities said Tuesday. President Barack Obama appeared on "The Daily Show" Tuesday night for his last time as commander in chief, touting his record in the White House and saying there's still "a bunch of other things we want to get done" before his term ends.
