CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — A woman who pleaded guilty to murdering Sam Nordquist, a Black transgender man, was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday after prosecutors said she and six others kidnapped and tortured him for weeks before killing him in upstate New York.
