The tornado ripped the roofs off airport hangars and flipped over planes. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office reported that the twister flipped over an SUV while the driver was inside.

Power lines and homes were also damaged by the tornado, which is part of a weather system moving southeast across the state. No injuries have been reported from the storm system, and no tornado warnings or watches were in effect when the funnel cloud hit.
