Google+, that hot new social network everyone's talking about, is currently invitation-only. Naturally this means that people are willing to do all sorts of things in order to get access to the magical land of plusses and circles — including paying shady eBay merchants. Don't be like those people.
While there are currently some loopholes which may allow someone to invite you to Google+, the whole invitation process is locked up, frozen, kaput, shut down — as in Google turned off everyone's ability to send Google+ invitations for the time being. This means that even the loveliest of eBay scumbags won't be able to magically guarantee you'll get an invitation right now.
What they can give you in exchange for your money is either a promise to invite you just as soon as Google allows it or an attempt to get you into the social network by sharing a post with you — which sometimes leads to a sign-up screen.

So please don't be stupid and don't consider paying someone anywhere from $.99 to over $50 — yes, those are the current going prices for these "invitations" on eBay — for something they can't even guarantee.
