Over 700 people attended the event this year, with notable guests including Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo. Grammy Award winning artist Carole King performed a medley of her hit songs, including "You've Got a Friend". This year's event celebrated the 41st anniversary of the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation.
