According to a post on the official Twitter blog, you can now share photos on the micro-blogging service via text messages — just as you could previously share regular tweets:
It’s simple: just enter the text of your Tweet as you normally would, attach a photo to the message and send to Twitter. This feature is currently available with the following carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Cellular South in the US; Vodafone, O2 and Orange in the UK; Vodafone Italy; Rogers Communications in Canada; VIVA Bahrain; and, TIM Brazil.

Some things to keep in mind:
- The short codes you'll use to send the photos and text will vary based on your location and carrier. You can figure out which one to use by consulting this list.
- Your carrier may charge you for sending these text messages. It all depends on your service plan.
