Joe Biden hasn't indicated whether or not he'll ultimately mount a run for president in 2016, but one member of the United States Senate says he's ready to back a Biden bid.
Sen. Chris Coons, a Democrat from Biden's home state, told reporters Tuesday that Biden's "seasoned and senior record in national security and foreign policy is unmatched."
“I would support Joe Biden as a candidate for President," he said. "I think there is no stronger voice for America's middle class."

Coons discussed Biden's possible run after a speech announcing his support for the Iran nuclear deal, a key foreign policy goal for the White House.
The Delaware senator also said that Biden "deserves the time and the space to reach the decision that's really best for him, and for his family."
