If an Apple executive's tweets are to be trusted, we might finally stop thinking of the white iPhone as "elusive" and start ordering the device soon.

The Next Web reports that Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President for Worldwide Marketing, recently tweeted that the white iPhone would be arriving in the spring. He even made it a point to remark that it will be "a beauty."

What Schiller didn't say though, is whether the white iPhone scheduled for a spring arrival will simply be an iPhone 4 with a fresh paint job or a next generation model.
