Let it Code, Let it Code: Obama Writes 'Frozen' Computer Program

President Barack Obama has written a computer program. No, he isn't abandoning Washington for Silicon Valley. Instead, he was kicking off Computer Science Education Week at the White House on Monday by writing a single line of JavaScript, which caused Elsa from the movie "Frozen" to draw a square on his computer screen. "We're starting too late when it comes to making sure that our young people are familiar not only with how to play a video game, but how to create a video game," he told a group of middle-school students. "One of the great things about America is that we invent and make stuff, not just use it." The "Hour of Code" event was part of a global campaign to get more kids — especially girls — to try their hand at computer coding.
