Not in the mood to drive to an Apple store to get your iPad? Then it'll probably be at least four to five weeks before you can get your hands on the shiny new Apple gadget.

TUAW reports that iPad 2 orders placed through Apple's website are currently showing expected shipping dates four to five weeks from today. Anyone who was quick enough to order his or her iPad 2 while estimated shipping times were in the two to three week range should still receive the device in that time frame, of course.

So there we have it. If we want an iPad 2 and aren't patient enough to wait about a month to receive it, then lazy online ordering is not an option. It's time to reach for the car keys and try our luck at Apple's retail locations, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, select Apple Authorized Resellers, Verizon Wireless, and AT&T.
